Legal
Privacy Policy
This policy explains how personal data is collected and processed through www.emiliefouilloux.com, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Italian Legislative Decree 196/2003 as amended.
1. Data controller
Émilie Fouilloux — Galleria de Cristoforis 8, 20122 Milan, Italy. Email: info@emiliefouilloux.com. No Data Protection Officer (DPO) has been appointed, as the site does not meet the conditions of Article 37 GDPR.
2. Data we collect
- Contact form data — name, email address and the content of your message, provided voluntarily by you.
- Technical log data — IP address, browser type, date and time of request, recorded automatically by the hosting provider for security and troubleshooting.
- Cookies and similar technologies — none at present: the site sets no cookie and stores nothing on your device. See the Cookie Policy.
The site does not knowingly collect data from children under 16, and does not process special categories of data (Article 9 GDPR).
3. Purposes and legal basis
| Purpose | Legal basis | Retention |
|---|---|---|
| Replying to enquiries sent via the contact form | Pre-contractual measures at your request — Art. 6(1)(b) | 24 months from the last exchange |
| Site security, abuse prevention, server logs | Legitimate interest — Art. 6(1)(f) | Up to 12 months |
| Analytics and marketing cookies (not currently in use) | Consent — Art. 6(1)(a) | See Cookie Policy |
| Compliance with legal and accounting obligations | Legal obligation — Art. 6(1)(c) | 10 years where applicable |
Providing the contact form data is optional, but without it we cannot reply to your request. No consent is requested at present, as no analytics or marketing cookie is used. Any consent given in future would be entirely optional and withdrawable at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out beforehand.
4. Recipients and processors
Data may be accessed by parties that provide technical services on our behalf, appointed as data processors under Article 28 GDPR: the hosting and email provider, and — only if you consent — the analytics and advertising providers listed in the Cookie Policy. Data is never sold or disclosed for third-party marketing purposes.
5. Transfers outside the EEA
No transfer takes place today, since no third-party measurement tool is active. Were one to be enabled, its providers may process data in countries outside the European Economic Area, including the United States. Such transfers take place on the basis of the European Commission's adequacy decision for the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, or on Standard Contractual Clauses with supplementary measures. These transfers occur only if you consent to the corresponding cookie category.
6. Automated decision-making
No automated decision-making or profiling producing legal effects on you (Article 22 GDPR) is carried out.
7. Your rights
You may at any time exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection (Articles 15–22 GDPR), and withdraw any consent given. To do so, write to info@emiliefouilloux.com. We will reply within one month.
If you believe your data is processed unlawfully, you may lodge a complaint with the Italian supervisory authority, Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (garanteprivacy.it), or with the authority of your country of residence.
8. Fonts and third-party resources
Web fonts are hosted on our own server. No request is made to external font CDNs, and therefore no IP address is transmitted to them when the page loads. Any other third-party service is loaded only after you give consent.
9. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated to reflect changes to the site or to applicable law. Substantial changes affecting cookies will trigger a fresh consent request.
